The staff was friendly and courteous. The entire hotel was very clean and kept. There's plenty to do in the hotel itself, but quite a few activities nearby as well (Pikes peak, Manitou Cliff dwellings, Seven falls). The resort has shuttles that can take you to nearby places. All the restaurants offer great food and drinks. Overall, it was a wonderful experience

Breakfast was excellent. Dinner in the Penrose was wonderful. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were very impressed with the Christmas decorations and the service.
